About Us

Focus Data Solutions, located in Alexandria, VA, began in 2001 as a lunchtime musing between Page Moon and his friend and client, Becki Donatelli of Campaign Solutions. Page worked for a firm that was soon to close. Becki wanted to keep her email service and Page’s expertise. After a few very quick conversations and some capital investment, Focus Data Solutions was born.

Over 20+ years, we’ve grown from a small email management firm with some IT support services to a Channel Futures MSP 501 worldwide leader in the small and medium-sized business (SMB) IT managed services arena. We are both woman-owned and veteran-owned.  Our Co-Founders, Page Moon and Elizabeth Chisman Moon, are committed to providing DC, Northern Virginia and Maryland area businesses secure, reliable IT support.

As a Solutions First client, you have a full-time, CIO led, information technology team that develops and implements comprehensive IT strategies for your short- and long-term business goals. Your initial network assessment and ongoing Quarterly Partner Reviews are opportunities to adjust strategies to meet your evolving objectives. By embracing the Solutions First approach, your company enjoys cost reductions in equipment, software, personnel, budgeting, insurance, and security services.


Some managed services firms charge onboarding and project fees to stabilize a network before providing support. This work is included in your Solutions First program. Critical infrastructure upgrades and security protocols are completed as part of your onboarding process. A complete network diagram, equipment inventory and status are kept for your reference on all servers, computers, and peripherals on your managed network. This critical work contributes to the maintenance and stability of your IT infrastructure. A strong foundation reduces costs, creates proactive maintenance, and increases staff uptime by reducing daily IT support requirements.

Ongoing Support

With one call, email, or text your team will have the support and IT service they need, on a 24/7/365-day schedule. Your telephone calls are answered in real time by client services specialists during business hours. A third-party call center supports Emergency After Hours requirements by routing your request to the same IT Focus Data Solutions team your staff works with during business hours.

Client Account Managers are your advocates and are available to discuss any part of your IT service or strategy. Monthly service reports and security updates keep you informed while routine service satisfaction telephone calls offer you the opportunity to share service feedback and request additional assistance whenever you may need it.
